This album is the original music soundtrack to “Time to 1.5”, a series from the Peabody Award-winning podcast Threshold. It features music created for the show by Todd Sickafoose.

Released in 2022, “Time to 1.5” grapples with the responsibility and privilege of this pivotal moment in human history. Our mission right now is to limit global warming to 1.5o C and stave off the most catastrophic impacts of climate change. Science tells us that we have less than a decade to do it. What are we doing with this time?

Rising temperatures, the fragile beauty of our atmosphere, and the quickening pulse of the Keeling curve are inspiration for this emotional collection of imaginatively orchestrated compositions.
